California Agriculture is a peer-reviewed academic journal reporting news and research on agricultural, natural, and human resources published quarterly by the University of California Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources,[1] with most of the authors being faculty from that university.

The first issue of California Agriculture was published in December 1946, making it among the oldest continuously published, land-grant university research publications in the US. The print circulation is nearly 17,000, which is among the largest for this type of publication.
California Agriculture often has special issues that explore timely topics, which have recently included biofuels, climate change, and sustainable viticulture.
California Agriculture has won several awards from the Association for Communication Excellence in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Life and Human Sciences (ACE).[2][3]
